A support group can provide you with a safe environment to talk about your illness with people who understand what you’re going through.
1) Don’t tell them they’re incorrect,
2) Don’t dispute with them,
3) Don’t ask whether they recall something,
4) Don’t remind them that their spouse, parent, or other loved one is deceased, and
5) Don’t bring up things that can distress them.
