SPECIALIST DOCTORS

Meet Our Team Of Depression Psychiatrists

Overview

Unlike physical illness, depression is not obvious to the people around us. Many apprehensive family members have little knowledge of how this is treated or what causes it. It makes it more difficult for friends and relatives who are unable to see and feel the impact that is causing the misery. Family therapy for depression is a treatment of our most powerful support system. It is intended to strengthen individual interactions within the family, as well as the family's general welfare and change dysfunctional habits. When it comes to managing depression symptoms, having a strong support system is essential! Connect with the professionals at Cadabam's Hospitals if you're facing concerns in your family and take confident steps toward a solution. Our multi-specialty team includes highly qualified specialists such as family therapists and psychiatric social workers that collaborate with each family to develop custom treatment programmes and provide a unique experience.

What is the process of counselling and/or therapy?

People seek therapy for a variety of reasons, including a crisis, a loss, a big life change, sorting things out in order to live a better lifestyle, or improving relationships. The first contact with the therapist is to collect information and history in order to design a strategy to address the needs of each individual/family. Individual, group, and/or family counselling sessions are possible.

How much time does it take?

Each session is usually 45 to 50 minutes long. Your therapist will work with you to build a regular regimen that is tailored to your individual needs. A person may attend counselling two or three times, or they may opt to stay until they have achieved their life improvement goals.
